Iam new to dairy farming...but willing to learn...need help on deciding no. Of buffalos to keep and to properly scale up dairy farm
My planning is to start dairy with minimum output of 120 ltrs of milk per day and scaleup the dairy output to 400 ltrs per day in 18 months and maintain dairy output at 400 ltrs for 3 years consistently and later decide on further scaleup..
As iam not expert in buffalos..i have written my requirement in terms of Milk...i had selected murrah buffalo for this project...can someone suggest me no. Buffalos i have to buy to start my dairy to reach minimum output of 120 ltrs with in 3 months and later scaleup my dairy farm to 400 ltrs by end of 18 months.... and maintain consistent output of 400 ltrs (+_ 5%) for next 3 years...
