INFORMATION NETWORK FOR
BETTER PRODUCTIVITY
The important facets of animal health,
breeding and nutrition mentioned in the
previous sections should be supported by an
information system for recording the activities
in the field so that a rich database is created
which would be beneficial both to the farmers
and policy makers.
NDDB has created such a system called the
Information Network for Animal Productivity
and Health (INAPH) which is being presently
used in the field for recording various
interventions in animal health, breeding and
nutrition. A brief description of the information
system and the benefits to the farmers are
mentioned in the following sections:
